Learn how to create a Custom Reminder based on an existing SmartList Favorite in just 6, easy steps!
You can turn any existing SmartList into a Custom Reminder:
1. Open the Reminder Preferences Window (click “New Reminder” off the Home Page).
2. Click New.
3. Click the magnifying glass to open the SmartList Favorites Lookup.
4. Find the existing SmartList Favorite
a. Click on the Category to sort by Category.
b. Click on Name to sort by Name. You can type into a search field if you sort by Name.
5. Click Select.
6. Set the “Remind me when”
a. “Number of records” counts the number of records that match the criteria of the SmartList search. Change the option to “is not equal to” 0 to see the total number of records that match the criteria.
b. “Total of column” calculates the total value of a column in the SmartList.
